Katrina Relief Fund for IUOE Members

All of us have seen or read of the human misery and devastation inflicted on people and property in areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida by Hurricane Katrina.  The video footage, the pictures and the stories of the tragedy are vivid and heart-wrenching.

Many of those victims are IUOE members and their families.  What they need desperately is help – and the International Union of Operating Engineers is going to do all that it possibly can as quickly as it possibly can to assist those members.  To that end, the IUOE is establishing the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.

We are asking each and every member to lend a helping hand to those members and their families who have suffered loss and deprivation from the hurricane.  I assure you that every dollar contributed to this relief fund will be distributed to aid those members.

We ask that you be as generous as possible in making your contribution.  Please make your check payable to:  IUOE Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.  Please mail your contribution to: Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, IUOE, 1125 – 17th St., NW, Washington, DC 20036.  While your contribution is not tax deductible, we trust you will support this humanitarian effort.
