Dan Reding
Seventh Vice President
Elected as International Vice President in October 2019. Dan Reding joined Local 3 in 1984 as a backhoe operator. He worked many major projects in the Bay Area from underground to slide repair, running excavators to dozers. He worked as a dirt foreman and general foreman in the petrochemical industry. In the crane industry he worked on heavy civil projects like the Bay Bridge retro fit, Golden Gate rehabilitation, and the Sacramento water intake. In 2003, Dan became a Business Agent and quickly moved up to district representative. He became an officer of Local 3 in 2006, and was first elected Business Manager of the Local in 2019.
