James Anderson
Trustee
Elected as an International Trustee in October 2024. He began as a structural iron worker and member of Iron Workers Local 433 in Los Angeles before moving to Oregon and joining IUOE Local 701 in 1994. He worked for Campbell Crane, and was active in the union, eventually coming on staff and working as a dispatcher, organizer, director of organizing, and field representative. He helped unionize the concrete pump industry and windmill work, organized Granite Construction, and increased union market share in the Oregon crane industry. James was elected Local 701 Business Manager in 2016.
