Thomas A. Callahan
Tenth Vice President
Elected as International Vice President in 2021, after serving as an International Trustee since 2019. He has served as President and Business Manager of Local 15 in New York since 2014. Tom is a 3rd generation Operating Engineer. Tom's lengthy work experience includes the expansion of JFK Airport and the cleanup and recovery of Ground Zero. Tom is a member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the New York Building Foundation, Secretary Treasurer for the New York State Conference of IUOE, Secretary for the New York City Coalition of IUOE, Trustee on all Local 15 Funds, Executive Board member of the New York City Building and Construction Trades Council and sits on many other prestigious Councils and Boards throughout New York City and New York State.
